Mold Home Inspection Services
Mold is a form of fungus that can grow in a home. The CDC and EPA recommend that any mold growth should be dealt with promptly. Here’s how we can help.
Mold In A Home: What You Need To Know
As you might know, there are different kinds of molds, and some are more harmful than others.
The mold found in your favorite grocery store cheeses are totally safe, while mold found growing in your bathroom at home is perhaps not the kind you should eat as a snack on crackers.
When it comes to your home, something to keep in mind is that mold is a sneaky one. It grows in many damp, dark places, and often loves bathrooms and basements. Mold loves those environments.
As mold spreads, it can cause damage to whatever surface it is growing on. If the mold has been undetected or untreated for a while, it can spread and cause even more harm. This means the structure of your home could be in danger, as well as you and your loved ones who are living there. Especially those who have preexisting conditions such as asthma, allergies, or weak immune systems.
Mold: How Our Inspection Can Help
But not to fear! There are solutions to mold growth and mold damage. This is where we– your trusted, professional home inspectors– come in.
When we inspect your home for mold, we perform air testing. This determines whether there is mold secretly growing in the house. We have a machine that detects mold, some that are even invisible to the human eye. We collect samples of it and then take them to a lab that tests and analyzes the mold spores.
If you are buying a property, it is important to know what could be lurking in the walls, basement, bathrooms, and attic of your home.
Let us be your inspectors so you can be prepared for what lies ahead.
How much do your mold home inspections, testing and sampling cost?
These start at $299, with a general home inspection. This is a standard price and we do a thorough job with our mold sampling and testing.
Ask us about discounts too when you book. We always offer discounts for military personnel and first responders, and sometimes we have special offers depending on the time of year.
